It’s only the 2nd hit of winter, here, Joanne….has been a very mild early winter, much like in southern Ontario

The first few hours of a fresh snowfall are always pretty, but my delight quickly wears off when I have to navigate the mess. So far no snow in Chicago. Well, not any that stuck around more than a day. Yaaay! I think we are setting some kind of record for a warm December. I am sooo not a winter person.

Oh, I agree completely, Leslie. We had to drive to Truro yesterday afternoon – very messy and slow. I find the older I get, the less of a winter I am (if I ever was.

This was our first snowfall this month – quite a break for us, too!

Wow — sorry for the late response! I completely forgot to check back.

    We’ll be in Alberta.

There’ll likely be a lot more snow there than here in Nova Scotia….colder temps too, Bonnie. I wish you the best of everything – and welcome to Canada!

Thanks! It will be an interesting change for us, but it’s one we’re excited about.
