Lobster fishing… just the sort of photo to take me miles away from the desert. Thanks for the journey!

  3. On April 28th, 2012 at 6:44 pm Debbie Says:

And return thanks to you for showing me the desert, Cathy!

  6. On April 28th, 2012 at 6:24 pm Susan Says:

Yum! Lobster! I down with that! What a hard life, though!

  7. On April 28th, 2012 at 6:51 pm Debbie Says:

I assume you’re referring to the hard life of the fisherman, Susan, and not the lobster ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s certainly not how I want to make a living, but many of them love it and wouldn’t do anything else.

Love how blue the water looks! And now I want lobster…

Did someone say ‘lobster’? I’ll bring the pasta and the butter . . .

  11. On April 28th, 2012 at 11:16 pm Debbie Says:

Here in NS, it’s potato salad and butter, Trish – but pasta sounds good too!

  12. On April 28th, 2012 at 10:06 pm Leslie Says:

Poor lobsters. They do taste good, so my sympathies only go so far!

  13. On April 28th, 2012 at 11:18 pm Debbie Says:

I know, Leslie – I buy them cooked so I don’t have to see them suffer. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  14. On April 28th, 2012 at 10:19 pm Nise' Says:

I hope the season is plentiful and safe!

  15. On April 28th, 2012 at 11:18 pm Debbie Says:

Thanks, Nise – I hope so too. It’s a dangerous, low-paying job so plentiful & safe is good.

  16. On April 28th, 2012 at 10:31 pm Alyce Says:

Neat how they’re all lined up there!

  17. On April 28th, 2012 at 11:19 pm Debbie Says:

They’re all the same kind of boat, Alyce, so they line up really well! ๐Ÿ™‚

  18. On April 28th, 2012 at 11:22 pm Diane@BibliophilebytheSea Says:

    Very cool shot.

  19. On April 29th, 2012 at 8:41 pm Jenners Says:

I don’t know the seasons for anything so this was news to me.

  20. On April 30th, 2012 at 9:21 am Debbie Says:

The seasons are imposed, Mr.s J.: this shore of NS fishes May & June, somewhere else in the province they fish Jul & Aug etc. It’s to preserve stocks mainly.
