My Life as a Book

September4

I just discovered Pop Culture Nerd and her My Life As a Book series of annual posts. Each year the sentences change, and everyone’s invited to fill in the blanks using only the titles of the books they’ve read that year.

Here’s my first try – enjoy!

MY LIFE AS A BOOK

One time at summer camp I was Building the Pauson House (Frank Lloyd Wright & Rose Pauson) My review here.

Weekends at my house are Family Matters (Rohinton Mistry)

My neighbor is An Expert in Murder (Nicola Upson) My review here.

My boss is An Impartial Witness (Charles Todd)

My ex was The Man in the Queue (Josephine Tey) My review here.

My super-hero secret identity is The Stone Angel (Margaret Laurence) My review here.

You would not like me when I’m angry because I Wrecker (Summer Wood) My review here.

I would win a gold medal in Unfinished Business (Lee Kravitz) My review here.

I’d pay good money for The House at Riverton (Kate Morton)

If I were president I would be Drawing the Line (Judith Cutler)

When I do not have good books, A Murder is Announced (Agatha Christie)

Loud talkers at the movies should be All Quiet on the Western Front (Erich Maria Remarque)

Great answers! I just found this meme too. It took me a while to go through all my titles but I did have fun with it.

It is a fun meme, Leslie. I hope you don’t mind me posting the link to your answers too. http://undermyappletree.net/2011/09/04/my-life-as-a-book-2011/

Fun answers! I’m so glad you joined in. I’d give you a run for your money in that gold-medal race, I think. I can start projects but finishing is another thing altogether. And I’d pay good money for that house, too.

    Thanks for stopping by, Elyse!

Oh … I love this. I’m going to have to do it. I’m bookmarking this so I can come back and do it. I think my favorite is “When I do not have good books, A Murder Is Announced.”

And I checked out your bookshelves (and adorable fur buddies) on your Scene of the Blog post that you referenced. So jealous. I love that you have different rooms with different genres.

Good to see you here, Mrs. J! The genre by room thing sort of evolved, but works well…the next best thing to the Dewey Decimal System lol…..I’m looking forward to reading your ‘Life as a Book’ 🙂

LOL Stacey – it’s actually my dogs she wants to murder but that’s scary enough. (She doesn’t like big dogs & the way they bark at visitors.)

This is so cool, I’m definitely going to go try this out!

And I will definitely have to check out your post! Have fun!
