The View from My Window: Early December 2016

December2

The last day of November was beautiful with our first major snow, heavy & fluffy and clinging to to branches. December 1st was a bleak, chill day with a rain-like snow that the photo didn’t capture.

The Weather Network was telling me it was 3C (37F) with no precipitation but it was snowing, I tell you!

So dreary.

What do you see where you are?

Haha, Debbie … looking from our family room at 4.45pm, I see sun, the edge of our tree fern and in the background our gorgeous English Elm in full glorious leaf, with left of it our lovely gum. It’s summer!

Welcome to winter! Even here in Los Angeles, it has been cold, rainy, and windy in the past week. It felt like winter. But this weekend: 70 and sunny. It is never wintery for long here.

Yikes! I don’t like snow and hope we don’t see any at all this year.

I suppose you’re not likely to see it in South Carolina, Kathy. I’m thinking I need to move someplace warm.
